Senior Men’s Hockey

TECHNICAL HOLD HUIA

'The standard oii play in the Wellington men's hockey senior competition on Saturday showed a marked improvement on that oC the opening day the previous week. At Karori Park Karori Kiwis beat Air Force 7’3, Technical Old Boys and 1.1 uia drew 2-2, and Karori Tuis drew ’ with Varsity, 2-2. In style they were well matched, but Karori, possibly as the result of more practice, combined to greater effect than the Air Force. Huia 2.--Techni-cal old Boyes, in their first appearance of •the season, kept the experienced Hula team very busy indeecL and on their showing should be one of the top teams on the competition ladder by the end of the season.
