BYCROFTS, LTD., DIVIDEND Dominion Special Service. AUCKLAND, May 7. The net profit of Bycrofts, Limited, for the year ended March 31, was £12,087. against £11,734 in 1940. The directors propose to maintain the dividend at 8 per cent, (final 4 per cent.), requiring £12,000, and leaving £4875 to be carried forward, against £4788 brought in. Gratification is expressed in the report at having at least earned a dividend, in spite of the exceptional difficulties which at present surround the manufacturing business. Any continuity of this was difficult to foretell, and naturally the directors were unable to forecast what the effect any further increased taxation would have.
