SHORTAGES IN EIRE
Difficulties Unavoidable
(Received April .29, 10.20 p.m.) LONDON, April 28.
The Eireann Minister of Supply, Mr. Lemass, in a speech in Dublin, said: “One meets people saying that Eire’s shipping and supply difficulties have been created to force a change in our policy or our Government. 'Britain is not putting the screw on Eire. The difficulties are the inevitable outcome of the war and will end only when the war ends.’’
