Wellington
At a well-attended meeting of members and supporters of the New Zealand National Party held to set up a branch in the southern area of the Wellington North electorate, and presided over by Mr. 11. I. Graves, a committee of 15 was elected. The meeting was addressed by Dr. O. C. Mazengarb. With branches now formed in the northern, and southern ends of the electorate, the setting up of a committee to control the central area will complete the organization of Wellington North, and the selection of a candidate will be made in the near future, A meeting for a similar purpose, presided over by Mr. 11. V. Batten, was held in the Presbyterian Hall, Roseneatli, in the Wellington Central electorate. At this meeting a committee of 12 was elected and constituted the third branch to be set up, with others to bo formed.
