E.P. SCHEME TRYOUT
Demonstration In Petone
A tryout of the Petone Emergency Precautions Organization was held on Sunday morning, and 300 members carried out the demonstration smoothly and efficiently. Reports came in to headquarters from tbe various section wardens to their controllers, who decided ou what action to take before putting the necessary methods into operation. Everyone taking part was most enthusiastic, and the Boy Scouts and Boys’ Brigade give invaluable assistance. , , Sections taking part included transport, evacuation aud accommodation, medical, works, communication, supply. fire, St. John Ambulance. Women’s Avar Auxiliary, law and order, publicity and information .
