ITALIAN COMMUNIQUE
ROME, April 26.
A communique states: “Successive waves of German planes bombed the naval and aerial bases at Malta. There was artillery activity in the Tobruk sector, and Italian and German planes repeatedly bombed Tobruk on the night 'of April 24-25, and also attacked mechanized units and enemy artillery in the Solium area. The Italians east of Gambala routed the enemy, who left hundreds of dead and much material”
