Ringed With Nazi Bombs
LONDON, April 27.
Reports from Athens say that German bombers have ringed Athens with bombs, and that people were machinegunned in the streets. A London commentator says that the British salutary 'declaration that Rome would be bombed till the end of the war if Athens was bombed probably saved Athens and its historic buildings and relics from destruction. @
