NAVAL OFFICERS
New Zealand Candidates Promoted
The Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones, announced yesterday that four members of the fourth draft of six candidates for service in the Royal Navy under scheme A have been promoted by the Admiralty to the rank of temporary lieutenant, R.N.V.R., to date .March IS, 1041. Their names are: Eaddy, John P. (Auckland); Goldie, Alan A. (Auckland)) Herd, Launcclot H. (Wellington); Taylor, George B. (Ohrietchuruu)
