Australian Regulation On Subversion (Received March 28, 5 p.m.) CANBERRA, March 28. Regulation 42a, which gave the Commonwealth Government wide powers to deal with subversive statements, has been repealed and a less stringent regulation substituted. The new regulation modifies the definition of “subversive statement” and the clause prohibiting the prejudicing of financial measures taken by the Federal Government has been recast.
