Record Sheep Numbers I Latest statistics show that at the ■nd of 1939 the sheep population of Ausi fralin was at the record high level ot i 116.541.000 and since then there has been a further increase, so it is esti- ! mated that the total is now close to i 120.000,000 sheep. “Stock and Land, I Melbourne, recently published a 20-year average of prices on the great Newmarket sales.
