PRODUCTION OF GUNS
(Received March 7, 11 p.m.) OTTAWA, March 6. Mr. Harry Carmichael, Director-Gen-eral of Munitions, in a broadcast said that Canada by the end of 1912 would manufacture 147,000 automatic guns yearly, including 50,000 machine-guns. He said two of the most modern types of anti-aircraft guns would be in production by October.
