The weather has cleared and the pros, pects are for a tine day for the conclude ing day tomorrow of the Taranaki Jockey Club's autumn meeting, the feature of which is the 27th contest for the Taranaki Stakes. Kaiwaka may not run in the hurdles, and Ring Chief, who is engaged both in the Stakes and the Juvenile, will most likely run in the Slakes, if he is produced at all. Imperium, who is also dually engaged, is to run in the Juvenile Handicap. Betting will be win and place, and the following are likely to be well supported : 12.0: Okoke Hurdles.—Rollieker, Southern Blood, Kaiwaka, 12.45: Awakino Handicap.—Malo, VaL tour, Minvaal. 1.30: Moknu Handicap.—Sanction, Filbert, Hunting Bee. 2.10: Taranaki Stakes.—Sir Reau, Gold Dale.
