Cups and trophies are now awarded on a points basis, allowing a maximum of 60 points for egg production, 50 points for standard of bird, and 50 points for quality of egg, and the prizes go to birds and tennis considered the most suitable to use as breeding specimens. The winners are:— Single Pen Cup: «T. A. Annan (Taumaruntil), White Leghorn, 250 eggs. 105.8 points. Runner-up opposite section: K. Mullins (Palmerston North), Rhode Island Red, 216 eggs, 98.5 points. Highest team: Mr. J. AVilson (Carterton), White Leghorns, 1410 eggs. Runner-up opposite section: AV. A. Larsen (Feilding), Anstralorps, 1333 eggs. Breeders trophy and Golden Egg trophy: J. XVilson’s team. Silver Egg trophy: W. A. Larsen’s team. Silver Hen trophy, to highest leghorn: J. Wilson.
