Gold Mining Returns

Argo gobi dredge return: 46 ounces from 11.000 cubic yards in 121 hours. Alexander Mines, Limited, reports that no development work has been carried out during February, no men being available for this work. Stoping has been carried on above No. 6 intermediate level and over the south end of No. 6 level.’ Above No. 6 intermediate, the lode looks fairly well, averaging from 1 to 5 feet in width. On the south of No. 2 rise, the lode is small, but. may Improve in size when stoped upward. One hundred and fifty tons has been sent to battery for month. Una Hills Consolidated Gold Mines report that during the week ended February 28 the drives north and south of the specimen reef were continued in good ground.
