CHRISTCHURCH, March 3. A petition to the Prime Minister asking for the release on bail of Harold Alexander Ostler and Travers Burnell Christopher Christie, to allow them to prepare their case for the Court of Appeal has now been forwarded to Wellington. Ostler and Christie are serving a term in Paparua Prison after conviction on a charge of attempting to publish a subversive statement.
