B.M.S. SONG GROUP

“There was an excellent attendance at a meeting held recently by the song group of the British Music Society in the University Women’s Club room, Wellington. Mrs, Gibson Foster, group leader, welcomed all present. Several new members took part in, the programme, which was an “own seletcion’ one, items being varied,and interesting. Songs were sung by the following members: —.Mrs. Gilchrist and Mrs. Spiller, Misses M. Terriss, J. Curtis, B. Marchant, B. McLean, B. Long, J. Stirling, R. Martin, I. Potter and J. Bovis, Messrs. G. King and L. J. Hopkins, Mrs. Gibson Foster and Mrs. K. 0. Thomson played the accompaniments. Mr., and Mrs. A. G. Mitchell, Levin, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Donald, Lansdowne, Masterton.
