Sergeant Gunner John McMillau, aged 24, is reported missing from air operations iu Egypt on February 16. Sergeant McMillan joined the Royal Air Force ami entered training at Levin on December 18, 1939, later going on to Ohakea. He left New Zealand iu March, 1940. He was stationed in England for nine months, and just before Christmas was trans ferred to Malta, then going’ on io Egypt. He was educated at Wanganui East School mid Wanganui Technical College. He worked in the Railways I 'e pariment as .1 porter in Armuoho ami Huntcrville. His brother is in Hie British Army and was formerly iu India. LATE FLYING OFFICER BAKER Flying Officer Erie Neil Baker, who was reported missing as the result of air operations on February 18, is attached to the Army Co-operation Cominmid in England. He is 24 years of age. His mother is Mrs. C. S. Baker. 31 Simla Crescent. Khmtdallali. Flying Officer Baker was educated al the Waiptiwn District. High School. He joined the R.A.F. about :r year before the outbreak of war.
