AUCKLAND SHOW

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 21.

Fine weather prevailed for the opening day of the Auckland Metropolitan Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s ninety-eighth annual show. Entries in the horse, cattle, sheep and pig sections comprised the pick of the breeds in the province, and the animals exhibited would have done credit in any judging ring in the world. A record was set in the horse section, entries totalling 526. Exhibits in the dog section were considered the best shown in Auckland for 15 years. Dogs from as far south at Dunedin were on display.
