World conditions today must have lin'd the effect on many Christians of shaking their faith in God. It is for them in particular that the Doau of Exeter, Dr. Carpenter, has written Ahis book. He begins by placing the main proplem in proper perspective with an exposition of eternal truths and proceeds with a justification of faith by reason and by the evidence of the past. He provides an interesting, well-found-ed argument.
