THE KITCHEN GARDEN
Sowings To Make Now Carrots, spinach, lettuce, parsnips, cabbage and cauliflower can be sown now. Sow in small quantities and repeat at intervals. It is ;r mistake to sow too much of one vegetable at a time, as all the plants come to maturity together, with the result that many plants run to seed before they can be used. "A little and often" is a good motto in regard to.most kinds of vegetable seed.
