The Under-Secretary of the Lands and Survey Department advised the Hutt County Council yesterday that tlie Lowry Bay scenic reserve had been vested in the -oiiueil as freehold in terms of the Local Legislation Act, .1939. and Ihe reserve under provisions of (ho Scenery Preservation Act, J9OS. liail also been vested in the council.
