CLASHES IN POLAND
German Police And Armed Bands LONDON. February 19. The Polish news agency says that the German General Roettiv was killed during a clash between Polish armed bands and German police. German papers published in Poland reveal that the Poles are showing growing resistance. The "Deutsche Rundschau" reports serious lighting in the Tuchola forest, near Bromberg, where armed Polish bands are being organized. The "Cracow Zeitiing" reports another battle elsewhere when Germans tried to round up a rebel band, a German policeman being killed and two wounded. The paper reveals that 44 German police were killed in central Toland in recent months.
