Sir Cecil Leys Elected Chairman IBy Telegraph—Press AssoeiaLiuu.) ROTORUA, February 20. Speaking at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Section of the Empire Press Union today, the chairman, Sir Henry Horton, Auckland, said the Section was celebrating its thirtieth birthday this month. Sir George Fenwick had been its chairman for 19 years, and Sir Henry himself had been chairman for 11 years. He now felt the time had arrived when someone younger than himself should take over lhe position. On the motion of Sir Henry, Sir Cecil Leys, Auckland, was elected chairman for the enkuing year.
Mr. C. W. Earle, Wellington, paid a tribute to the service Sir Henry had rendered as chairman and on his motion a resolution was passed recording the appreciation of members.
