DEMOCRATIC LABOUR
The leader of the Democratic Labour Party, Mr. Lee, M.P., yesterday spoke at a luncheon arranged by the Wellington Junior Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lee, who was accompanied by Messrs. R. C. Malcolm, A. S. Tonkin and Dr. Smith (Rawene) dealt mainly with the necessity for development of New Zealand industry and received an attentive hearing. Next week Mr. Lee will address the Wellington Manufacturers’ Association.
