Girls' Association The annual dinner which is the main featuer of the Wellington Girls' College Old Girls’ reunion each yea'was held at James .Smith’s tea rooms last night. There were 130 "oli: girls,” representing two generalions, and the long tables were decorated with glowing french marigolds in the gold tones of one of the college colours, which are black and gold. Mrs. W. 0. Urquhart, president of the Old Girls’ Association, presided at the dinner and welcomed the guests. She wore a cyclamen pink figured taffeta gown modelled on Victorian lines. Those at the official table were .Miss E. M. North, present principal of the college, Mrs. Knox Gilmer, a Vicepresident of the association and a member of the board of governors; Miss N. G. Isaac, principal of Wellington East Girls’ College; .Miss F. E. Kershaw, Miss D. Johnstone, Miss A. Holm, principal of St. Mark’s School, and Miss It. Ward, all vicepresidents of the association. The toast list was as follows: "The King,” Mrs. Urquhart; “The School,” Miss Isaac; “Old Girls’ Association,' Miss Kershaw: "Absent Friends," Airs. Gilmer. The committee responsible for the arrangements comprised Mrs. Nancy Angus, Miss Beryl Stewart, .Miss Winifred Helliwell, Aliss Molly Cook, Mrs. Enid Kircher, Misses Marjorie Packer, Rita Hardie, E. Conder, Roma and Yolande Bitossi, Patricia Inns, Helen Harrison, Grace Jensen, Molly Moody, and Melvyn Aston. Th-e reunion celebrations will continue at the college, Pipitea Street, on Saturday, when a social gathering is to be held, and there will be a church parade at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul next Sunday.
