More Arrive At Saigon
i Received February lb, 10 p.m. i SAIGON, February 19.
Further Japanese reinforcements have arrived in the cruiser Nagaru, including soldiers and mechanics to reinforce the staffs of the air bases. it is reliably stated that 80,000 to ‘J0,900 Japanese troops are at present in Hainan and Formosa. NEW YORK, February 18.
The Saigon correspondent of the Associated P.ress reports that the Japanese naval forces in the Gulf of Siam have been heavily increases! in the last 12 hours by units from Formosa. Three cruisers were previously reported to be in the gulf.
