M.K. Manufacturers Dividend Dominion Special Service AUCKLAND, February 19. A net profit of 113,603 is reported by M.K. Munfacturers Limited for the year ended December 31. This compares with a profit of £5454 in 1939 and a loss of £4952 in 1938. The directors recommend a dividend of 6 per cent, compared with none a year ago and 6 per cent, in 1938. North Kalgurli Production North Kalgurli (1912) Ltd. reports that during the period ended January 14, 10,016 net tons was treated, 9089 tons from stoping and 927 tons from development. Revenue from ore treated, including estimated gold premium, was £33,347. Expenditure; —Mining and treatment, £15,284; development, £2172; diamond drilling, £322; surface equipment. £B3. Development, for the month, 409 feet. The Croesus Prop-y. output for the period ended January 14 was as follows: —4398 net tons treated. 4094 tons from stoping and 304 tons from development. Revenue from ore treated, including 'estimated gold premium was £8167. Expenditure:—Mining and treatment (including cost of excess ore broken in stopes during the month), £6245; development, £1090; special expenditure surface equipment Croesus Proprietary lease, £2579. Development for the month, 144 feet. Coal Mining Dividend The Cascade-Westport Coal Co. Ltd. has advised fhe Stock Exchange Association that an interim dividend of 3} per cent, is payable on February 24. Colombo Tea Market (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. February 19. Mr. L. M. Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction of February 18 :-r-1,250,0001b. were offered to buyers. Common and medium grades were slightly dearer while good quality teas remained unchanged at last week’s rates. Small sales are anticipated till April.
