IDLE DANISH SHIPS
May Be Used In Pacific (Received February 19, 10.20 p.m.) NEW YORK. February 18. Tlie “Daily News” says that the Maritime Commission lias worked out a plan whereby United States shipping companies will charter 58 idle Danish vessels tied up in North and South American ports for use in the Western Hemisphere and Pacific Ocean, eeleasing British ships for duty in file north Atlantic. It is stated that the British have agreed to withdraw their ships from the Pacific.
