Theft From Room In Which Children Were Sleeping MAORI FOR SENTENCE Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, February 14. Crisp, a visitor from AA ellmgton, .ind breaking and entering the house ot Mrs. E. McDonald by day. Detective J. Murray said Rongonui broke'into Mrs. Metekingi’s house and stole the contents of a handbag from a room in which two children were sleeping. Rongonui was seen loitering mat Mrs. McDonald’s house. Mrs. MeDonaid went, to investigate and saw• nm jump over a fence and hide behind a lia?stack. Site called to him to come to liei but there was no response, so she went to a neighbour for assistance. On returmn. Mrs. McDonald saw Rongonui off on a bicycle. , Rongonui pleaded guilty to both < im « • and was committed to the bupieme Court, Wanganui, for sentence.
