Seventh Day Adventists’ Attitude - I’res. Usoctaileti DUNEDIN, February 111. During the hearing of the Seventh Day Adventists' appeals before the Armed Forces Appeal Board. Pastor Naden said that in 1939 his church approached the Minister of Defence, pointing out its attitude to war Mr. ,lout's assured members of live, church that as long as his Government was lit power conscription would not be introduced, so they need not be concerned. When conscription was brotighl in the church wrote Io lhe Minister again, and also Io the Minister of National Service. Mr. Semple, and was advised that Ihe Government did not expect tiny dillicully as ftir as Seventh Day Adventists were concerned.
