New Japanese Organization Urges Action

LONDON, February 12.

A new Japanese organization called the National Association held a big meeting in Tokio today and put out a manifesto warning the United States against what is called “arrogant attempts” to interfere with Japan’s policies. A resolution was adopted reminding the Prime Minister that tlie time had come for Japan to prepare against the worst, eventuality.

The resolution went on to urge the Prime Minister to bring the new national structure drive to a successful conclusion by fully using the national service association and by suppressing democratic and Communist ideas.

The National Association, which includes more than 200 members of the House of Representatives, was formed for the purpose of pulling the country through the present emergency period. A manifesto issued afterward, among other things, said that for 20 years Japan had pursued a policy of conciliation'toward the United Slates with patience and forbearance, but that the United States had returned Japan’s policy of conciliation with acts of increasing hostility.
