The watchfulness of a Hight lieulenaiit saved (be life ol another Hurricane pilot, during a receni R.A.F. offensive against occupied France. Ou the way home be saw a Hurricane hurst into flames over the Channel, rhe pilot baled out. and the Hight lieutenant promptly turned to lly down the Channel to find help. In a few minutes ne sighted a motor torpedo-boat, dived ■ town and Hew in the direction of the ;,ilot.
