Mrs. H. A. Beauchamp has arrived from Sydney and will be slaying a few weeks in Wellington.

Mrs. Bevan, wife of Wing Commander Humphrey Bevan, Comptroller to the Governor-General Designate, will arrive shortly in New Zealand to join her husband, who came to the Dominion a few weeks ago. Mrs. Bevan is accompanied by her two sons, the elder o whom is 18 years old.

Mrs. M. II- Godby and Mrs. Guy Ronalds, Christchurch, will leave today for Napier, where they will be the guests of Mrs. John M.rson, Later they will visit other friends in Hawke’s Bay.

Miss Barbara Gould has returned to Christchurch from a visit to Mrs. Quinn, Featherston.

Miss Ida Bly th. Kobe. Japan, who recently came to New Zealand, is visiting her cousin. Miss Cole, Wanganui. Miss Blyth’s Lome was in England before she left 31 years ago for Japan. Mrs. C. H. Napier, Dunedin, is spending some weeks in Wellington. Mrs. R. Masters and Miss Ola Masters. Stratford, are visiting Wellington.

Miss Phyllis Narbey, of the nursing staff of the Hawera Hospital, is spending her annual leave with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Narbey, Akaroa. Miss L. Wilks, of the staff of the ‘ Wanganui Chronicle, ’ was met by fellow members and presented with a gift on the occasion of her approaching marriage.

Mrs. S. Riddler has returned to Wellington from Eltham.

Miss Mary Quin. Wellington, has returned after a holiday spent at Hawera and New Plymouth.

Mrs. R. H. Quilliam has returned to Wellington from New Plymouth.

Mrs. R. L. Dukes, New Plymouth, has arrived to spen'd a holiday at Wellington.

Mrs. Herbert Giesen has returned to Feilding from a holiday visit to Raumati beach.

Mrs. Brian Keiller, Palmerston North, is spending a holiday at Paekakariki with her children.

Mrs. Ray Bennett has returned to Palmerston North after a holiday at Waikanae beach.

Mrs. Maurice Millar, Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. D. C. Chamberlain. Palmerston North, has returned home with her family from a holiday at Otaki beach. Mrs. G. W. L. Meilish and her family have returned to Wellington after spending an extended holiday in Palmerston North.

Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Gifford-Moore and their two small sous, Lower Hutt, are spending a holiday at the beach at Raumati South.

Miss Ngita Woodhouse. who has been spending a holiday at her cottage at Pukerua Bay, has returned to Palmerston North.
