LATE CR. T. FORSYTH Services To City Council
Reference to the valued services rendered to Wellington by the late Mr. J' Forsyth, for many years a member of the Wellington City Council, was made by tiie mayor, Mr. Hislop, at the monthly meeting of the council last night. All councillors who knew Mr. Forsyth, lie said, recognized him as a man of sterling qualities with a tine record of public service. "I had feelings of the highest regard and personal affection lor him, 1 lie added, ‘‘and I think everybody who knew him felt lie was guided by the highest ideals of public service.”
