Evidence of the misguided interest some people iu New Zealand have taken in the war is contained m a report bv Die librarian of the Christchurch Public Library, Air. E. J. Bell. In certain of the library's volumes, the report states, as many as 20 to 30 pages have been torn out, the portions removed in each ease dealing with countries prominent in the war news.
