There is a serious shortage of blood donors in Auckland. At the outbreak ,of war the St. John Ambulance Association had its service operating art an efficient level, but since then, and specially in the past six months, the number available Ims become lower because of enlistments with the fighting services, till now there frequently is difficulty in fulfilling demands made by city hospitals.
