WOMEN'S INSTITUTE AT TAITA
The Tnita Women’s Institute held its lirst meeting of the year recently, Mrs. Hunter presiding. During the meeting an appreciative letter from a soldier overseas, who had received a. Christmas parcel from the institute, was read out and a collection was taken up so that more parcels could bo sent. An appeal whs made for handkerchiefs to bo mode and sent to the patriotic society, where they would be dyed khaki. Nominations for president and committee were called for. Mrs. Sage won a Hower competition.
