WOaDVELLE, February 12. The first annual Woodville ewe fair was held in the Woodville Farmers’ Association yards this week. A yarding of SI9S ewes was offered, the majority from the Pongaroa, Coonoor and Waione districts. A total clearance was effected under the hammer at prices which must be considered most satisfactory for vendors. The yarding included some of the best lines of ewes which have been submitted to auction this year. They were in the best of condition, and it was evident from tl:e outset that a very strong sale would result. Some of the main realizations ■\ccount A. P. McCool, 410 four-year ewes, 23/-; G. B. The supplementary Woodville ewe fair will be held on Monday, when between 5000 and 6000 station-bred ewes will be offered.
