An average yarding of cows and heifers was in good demand, values in many cases being higher than last week's. Extra choice oxen made 3!)/- a hundred pounds, choice and prime 35/. to 38/-, secondary and pla u 32/- to 34/-; extra prime young cow and heifer beet 30/- to 34/-, choice and prime 07/. to 29/-, ordinary cow beef —/- to 26/-.
