Rain Mars Tournament Play 1, Because of stormy conditions (luring j the morning, aud heavy rain setting in later, very few matches were got off in . the Wellington croquet championships L . yesterday. Play was discontinued early in the afternoon. In the open champion- ’ ship, several of those taking part in the s final play-off have been decided, , lu the first section, Miss Claughton has ’ won all her games, and Mrs. Toms has ’ six wins to her credit. In the second ■ section Veitch has won all six games, but the runner-up is still undecided.
