FUNERAL OF MR. FRANCIS BENNETT
A representative gathering attended the funeral service of Mr. Francis Bennett. Khandallah. conducted on Monday at Khandallah and Karori by the Rev. W. J. Durrad and members of the Masonic order. The Masonic funeral and farewell service was read by Worshipful Brothers Henderson, Magee and Tanner. As well as members of Mr. Bennett s family, there were present teachers who had served with Mr. Bennett, old pupils, and representatives of the Wellington Education Board, the Khandallah, Johnsonville and Karori Bowling Clubs. Tlie bearers were Messrs. M. Casey. T. K. Henderson, H. J. Russell, G. E. Alcock, R. B. Magee and W. B. Gamble.
