SILVER CUPS GIVEN
Home Guard Contests
1 HAMILTON', February 5.
In an effort to stimulate interest and to create a friendly rivalry between platoons, two silver cups have been given by an anonymous donor to the Hamilton units of the Home Guard for competition, one for the young men and one for the older men. Comment on the gratifying enthusiasm of members was made by an officer recently when he said that attendances were much better than expected. The total membership to date, he said, was 922.
