At the monthly meeting of the council of the New Zealand Golf Association it was decided to contribute the usual sura of £5OO toward the cost of the greens research work at. Palmerston North. Forthcoming tournaments advised Io the association arc: —llanmer Springs Golf Chib. Simes Cup match, March 22 and 23: Napier Golf Club, Earner tournament. April 12 and 14. There were present Sir Alexander Roberts (chairman), Messrs. Vincent Ward, AV. A Kiely. J. H. Drake, W. E. A. Gill, A. R. Sclanders, D. R. Richmond, and G. O. Sutton (secretary).
