Sir, —I was delighted to read the letter on the above subject this morning. For years past the “medundant verbosity” of announcers has been a great annoyance. One other grouse. Is it necessary that programmes should be so rushed that very frequently the last beautiful notes and harmonies of some delightful item have not died away before the next is announced and rushed on.—l am. etc., D MAJOR.
