BOMBING OF HISTORIC HOTEL
LONDON, February 2. It is revealed that the George Hotel, at which Lord Nelson stayed before embarking for Trafalgar, was destroyed in a recent air raid on Portsmouth. The Nelson Room was gutted. THE “TUSCANY WALTZ” A Daventry radio bulletin last night announced that according, to an Athens report a new dance has become popular in many European capitals. It is the “Tuscany Waltz,” named after the Italian force in Albania. It is easy to learn —one step forward and three back.
