REJECTED BY TOKIO
Dutch Representations On New Order LONDON, February 3. A Tokio message says that Japan has rejected the representations made bv the Netherlands Government concerning the recent statement by the Japanese Foreign Minister that the East Indies would be incorporated in the new order in Asia. The Dome! news agency today stated i hat in rejecting the representations the Japanese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs pointed out that Japan was only concerned in economic affairs, not affairs of a political character. [lt was recently reported from London that the Netherlands Minister in Tokio had been instructed to inform the Japanese Government of the rejection of any suggestion that the East Indies should be brought into a “new order” under a foreign Power.]
