BRITISH WAR SAVINGS

Since the opening of the war savings campaign £216,359,582 lias been raised by tlie sale of savings certificates and £215.132,400 by the sale of defence bonds, while the balance due to depositors in tile Post Office Savings Bank and trustee savings bank has been increased by £135,957,000 to a grand total of £567,443,982
