The Canterbury Saleyards Co., Ltd., lias advised the Stock Exchange Assoeiatiou that the directors will recommend to the annual meeting of shareholders, to be held on February 11, a final dividend of 3 per cent, on the paid-up capital of the company, making a total dividend of 0 per cent, for the year ended December 31. The dividend is payable on February 1-. Transfer books are not closing. The dividend for the previous year was 1} per cent. Gold Mining Returns Gillespie’s Beach dredge reports a return of 250 z. lldwt. from 14,652 cubic yards worked in 131 hours. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 3. For tlje period ended January 22 the Molyneux gold dredge return was 120 oz. for 362 hours. The dredge is not operating at present owing to a narrow gorge where dredging is impracticable. The Gillespie’s Beach return for the week ended February 1 was 250 z. lldwtfor 131 hours from 14,652 cubic yards. Pukekohe Produce Prices Dominion Special Service. PUKEKOHE, February 3. The prices of Pukekohe produce have remained stable during the past eight days. Potatoes continue to sell at 7/per cyrt., table onions at 9/6, pickling at 12/-, and Tied Warren pumpkins at 11/-. Carrots are still at 9/6 a sugarbag. tomatoes 8/- a case, and cabbage plants 10/6 a thousand in bundles of 25. Steady business is being done in most lines, while the demand for onions is lively.
