A naval squadron in England, headed by ir lieutenant-commander on horseback, recently made a tour of some seaside cities and towns on behalf of the AVar Weapons Fund. In Mnncliesler, it is stated, they received cheques for £250,000 each from two insurance societies. An English newspaper features a photograph of the utivttl olllcer receiving one of the cheques.
