YOUNG MAN FOUND SHOT
ißv Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, February 2. John Trinnan Campbell, single, aged 21, of Lyaildale, South Canterbury, emploved by his father, Air. AV. Campbell, on 'a farm, was found in a shed fatally wounded, on Saturday morning. There was a bullet wound in the centre of his forehead, aud a .22 calibre rifle was lying alongside. It was Air. Campbells custom to shoot rats in the shed, aud it is, assumed that he tripped, the rifle exploding. An inquest was opened and adjourned, sine die.
